    Ordered Four for Events

    We purchased four units for our event rental inventory. I tested all four before putting them into service and the output was consistent between the units. For weddings and smaller dance floors we normally use two, and for larger setups we can spread all four across the stage. The built-in programs are useful when clients don’t need a fully programmed show. I would have liked longer included cables, but that’s a minor thing since we use our own event cabling anyway.

    DMX Control Is Worth Learning

    Out of the box the automatic shows are already impressive, but DMX is where this laser became much more useful for me. Being able to control patterns, movement and colors instead of just letting it run randomly makes it much easier to match the rest of my lighting. The first setup took longer than expected because there are quite a few functions to learn. After that it has been straightforward.

    Great for Mobile DJ Gigs

    Used the A19 for two weekend gigs so far and I’m happy with it. Setup is pretty quick and sound mode works well when I don’t have time to program everything. With haze in the room it adds a lot more depth to my lighting setup. My only small complaint is that I wish the manual explained some of the advanced controls in more detail. Still a very good laser for the price.

    Lots of Effects

    There are honestly more built-in patterns than I’ll probably ever use. I bought it mainly because I wanted something I could run automatically for parties but also connect to DMX later. Colors are bright and the patterns look sharp on a wall. The fan is noticeable when testing it in a quiet room, but during an event you don’t hear it at all.

    Bought Two for Our Bar

    We ordered two A19 units for a small bar and mounted one on each side of the dance floor. Using two makes a huge difference compared with a single projector because we can create a much wider look. We started with automatic programs and are now setting them up through DMX. Programming took a little experimenting, but both units have been working reliably. Very pleased with the purchase.

    Better Than Expected

    I wasn’t sure what to expect from a 3W laser, but this thing is much brighter than I thought. I tested it first in my garage and then used it for a small DJ event with haze. The beams looked very clean and the colors were surprisingly strong. I mostly use the built-in effects for now and they are more than enough for quick gigs. The menu took me a little time to understand, but after playing with it for an evening it was fine.

    Good App Control

    I wanted something I could operate without bringing my full DMX setup every time, so the phone control was one of the reasons I picked this model. It’s convenient for small events and quick testing. For more serious shows I still prefer DMX because I have more control over exactly what is happening. App setup wasn’t completely obvious the first time, but after connecting it once it has been easy to use.

    Very Capable for the Size

    I’ve owned a couple of cheaper party lasers and this feels like a step up. The housing feels solid, the patterns are cleaner and there are many more control options. I bought it mainly to experiment with ILDA and custom programming, while still having automatic mode available for simple events. It took me a few days to learn what everything does, so I wouldn’t call every advanced feature plug-and-play, but that is also part of why I bought it. So far, very happy with it.

    Nice Colors With Haze

    The red, green and blue all look good and mixed colors are better than I expected at this price point. In a room without haze it looks fine on walls, but once we turned the hazer on the whole effect changed and you could really see the beams through the room. I would definitely recommend using haze if your venue allows it. Shipping box had a small dent when it arrived but the laser itself was completely fine.

    Solid Little Laser

    Good output, nice RGB colors and easy enough to get running. I mainly use sound active mode with a fog machine and it looks great for private parties. I haven’t gone very deep into ILDA yet, so I can’t comment much on that side. The mounting bracket could be a little easier to adjust, but once installed it stays in place. Overall I’m satisfied.
