R3 DMX LED Matrix Light 36x8W RGBW Pixel Panel for Club Stage

I’ve used the same units on a wedding stage one week and a DJ event the next, which says a lot about how flexible they are. They can stay subtle when needed or get aggressive when the music calls for it. Very practical fixture overall.

The splicing design was one of the reasons I picked this model. It gives room to expand later instead of replacing the whole setup. Assembly was fine overall, though I’d recommend planning your rigging layout ahead of time.

For an indoor fixture, the output is solid. Colors looked full, whites were cleaner than expected, and the blinder hits had enough punch for drops and intros. Not silent, but in live event use that was never an issue.

One thing that stood out was the RGBW color mix. The whites looked cleaner, and pastel tones came out better than I expected from a matrix fixture. Nice option for event work where you need both energy and cleaner looks.

Bought this for mixed event work, mainly weddings and small live shows. It covers a lot of jobs in one fixture and saves space in the truck. The only small complaint is that I had to spend extra time labeling DMX addresses during load-in.

This feels more flexible than a standard wash because it can do pixel looks, strobe, and audience hits from one fixture. We used it for a school event and it kept the rig looking more interesting. The housing is a bit bulkier than I expected, but still manageable.

We ordered four units to build a compact stage frame for an indoor venue. The fixtures matched well, and once everything was addressed correctly, the wall effect looked great. Shipping cartons were fine, though I always wish brackets were a little faster to mount.

The fixture really comes alive with a light haze. Without haze, it still looks good, but once the room fills a bit, the matrix and beam effects show much better. Good choice for clubs and wedding stages.

I mostly do mobile productions, so I appreciate fixtures that don’t slow down setup. In 4CH and 12CH modes this one is pretty quick to deploy, and then I can go deeper with programming when needed. Good balance between simple use and advanced control.

Mounted two units behind a DJ booth and they added much more movement than regular wash lights. The beam accents and low-pixel looks both read well once haze was in the room. I do wish the quick-start sheet were a little more detailed.
