Z9 RGB Wedding Laser Lights 5W/10W/12W Smoke Snow Bundle

I chose the laser + smoke + snow package because I didn't want to order everything separately. It made setup easier for our small production team. The smoke really helps show the laser beams and the snow effect is fun for entrances. My only complaint is that carrying all three pieces obviously takes more room than I expected.

We bought three of these for a hotel ballroom after renting lasers several times. We installed one in the center and two toward the sides of the stage. The coverage is much better than using a single projector and the room looks completely different once haze is added. DMX synchronization took our technician a little while the first day, but now the system is saved and very easy to run for each wedding.

We used the Z9 for a wedding first dance and it completely changed the look of the ballroom. With a little haze, the beams were clean and visible without making the room feel like a nightclub. The blue and purple combinations looked especially good in photos. Setup was pretty straightforward with the remote. Very happy with it.

We purchased four Z9 units for our wedding production company so we could place two on each side of larger stages. One unit already looks good, but four synchronized together gives a completely different level of coverage. We control them through DMX and have built several wedding scenes for entrances, first dances and the late-night party. Transport cases would have been nice to have included, but performance-wise they've been excellent.

This was probably the most photographed piece of lighting at our last event. We used the laser behind the couple during their entrance and the beams looked amazing on video. The colors are very clean and don't have that cheap party-light look. Took me a little time to find the effects I liked, but after that it was easy.

Bought this mainly for wedding receptions. The fan and tunnel effects look beautiful around the dance floor and it gives us something different from normal moving heads. The remote is useful for quick setups, although the range could be a little better.

Ordered the package with the snow machine for winter weddings. The combination of the laser beams and snow effect is really beautiful for entrances and photos. Just be prepared to clean up afterward because fake snow somehow gets everywhere 😂. The actual equipment has worked well.

Overall I'm happy with it. Bright output, nice colors and it looks excellent with the smoke machine. The remote could feel a little more premium and I would have liked a longer power cable, but those are small complaints. The actual laser performance is what matters and that part has been very good.

Really impressed with the color output. Red, green and blue all look strong and the mixed colors are much cleaner than the older laser we were using. Works especially well behind light fog.

I'm not a lighting programmer, so I mostly use the remote and automatic modes. For basic wedding setups that's honestly enough. You can get a nice romantic background going pretty quickly. I wish the manual explained a few of the settings better, but after playing with it for 20 minutes I understood most of it.

Used ILDA to create a simple custom monogram for a wedding backdrop. That alone made the purchase worth it for us. The couple loved seeing their initials projected behind the sweetheart table. There was definitely a learning curve getting the file and positioning right, but the final result looked very professional.

I've been using small RGB party lasers for years and this feels like a proper step up. The beams are brighter, patterns are smoother and having DMX plus ILDA gives me a lot more room to build custom shows. It's heavier and more involved than a cheap plug-and-play laser, but that's also why the result looks better.

I went with the 10W version for medium-size banquet halls and so far it's been plenty. Bright beams, good color mixing and smooth movement. The menu isn't the most intuitive thing in the world, but honestly most stage lights are like that.

We keep the effects fairly subtle during dinner and then switch to stronger beams once the DJ starts. It works really well for that transition. Sound mode is surprisingly usable when we don't have time to program a full DMX show. The cooling fan is slightly audible in a quiet room, but during an event you don't notice it at all.

We used this behind the couple during their entrance and first dance. The photographer was worried the laser might look too aggressive, but with slower blue and purple effects it actually looked very elegant. Some of the faster automatic patterns are a bit too “party” for my taste, but there are plenty of usable ones.

Nice bright laser and the colors look great. I tested it without smoke first and thought it was just okay, but once we added some haze the beams really came alive. Huge difference.

If you're only using the remote, it's very easy. If you want to get into ILDA and start making custom names and graphics, expect to spend some time learning the software side. Once we figured it out, projecting the couple's initials looked fantastic.

The scanning looks noticeably smoother than our cheaper laser projectors. Lines and fan effects stay clean instead of looking shaky. We've only used it for three events so far but no issues yet.
